"Thx"

"Thx" is an abbreviated form of "thanks" used in work messages, often appended to a long or demanding request to add a veneer of appreciation.

Say this instead: thanks

How "Thx" shows up at work

The ratio of letters saved to goodwill lost is unfavorable. Proportional use: the more you're asking for, the more you should probably spell out the word. A three-sentence ask ending in "Thx" lands like an invoice.
