The terms, without the legalese.
Buzzkill is a one-time purchase that runs entirely in your browser. Here is the deal, in words a human can read.
What you're buying
A personal license to the Buzzkill Chrome extension and any expansion packs you unlock. It is for your own use, runs locally on your machine, and is yours for the life of the product. No account, no subscription, nothing that renews.
Free trial and price
Spotting jargon and hover-to-read are free forever. The pro tools are a 7-day free trial with no card. After that it is a one-time payment: $7 for the core, $3 per expansion pack, $7 for all four packs, or $10 for everything. Payment is handled by Stripe; we never see or store your card.
Refunds
If Buzzkill is not for you, email corporate@usebuzzkill.com within 30 days of purchase and we will refund you in full. No form, no hoops.
Gifts
A gift purchase gives you a one-time redemption link to send to someone else. Once they redeem it, it is theirs. Same refund window applies to the purchaser before it is redeemed.
What we promise, and what we don't
Buzzkill works inside Gmail and LinkedIn, which change their layouts often. We keep it working through a small settings file and frequent updates, but we cannot guarantee it catches every phrase or that a given third-party site never breaks it. The product is provided as is. It is a writing aid and a bit of fun, not professional, legal, or financial advice.
Your data
The extension is 100% local: your email, your feed, and your stats never leave your browser. Full detail is in the Privacy Policy.
Changes and contact
We may update these terms as the product evolves; material changes will be reflected here. Questions about anything? corporate@usebuzzkill.com.
